Maria Tallchief at Jacob’s Pillow. Jacob’s Pillow has hosted American Indian dancers throughout its 80-year history. The famed Osage ballerinas Maria and Marjorie Tallchief both performed there in the 1960s, and Maria and the choreographer George Balanchine spent their honeymoon on its grounds.
